Dr. Jeremy Wojdak, who joined Radford University in 2004, currently is professor of biology. His biological research focuses on the ecology of freshwater habitats in Virginia. He publishes widely in his field, and has mentored dozens of undergraduates who routinely publish as co-authors, present their work at scientific conferences and move on to graduate or professional school.
Dr. Wojdak emphasizes experiential learning for his students through problem-based learning, study-abroad experiences, and course-embedded research projects. He has led six university- and national-level STEM education reform projects focused on improving curriculum and instruction for students.
Wojdak received a B.S. from Bowling Green State University and a dual Ph.D. in zoology and ecology, evolutionary biology & behavior from Michigan State University.
