Pamela L. Eddy

Pamela L. Eddy is a professor in educational policy, planning and leadership at William & Mary. Her research interests include community college leadership and development, organizational change and educational partnerships, gender roles in higher education and faculty development. Dr. Eddy serves as a consultant for campuses, system offices and on funded grants regarding strategies to support community college student success and to support leadership development. Dr. Eddy is the author or co-author of six books, with her most recent book titled, "Leading for Tomorrow: A Primer for Succeeding in Higher Education Leadership." She has written 40 peer-reviewed articles and given over 100 keynote presentations. Eddy is an associate editor for the "Higher Education: Handbook of Theory and Research" and the Editor-in-Chief of "New Directions for Community Colleges." Eddy received a Ph.D. from Michigan State University, an M.S. from Cornell University and a B.S. in Economics from Allegheny College.
