Virginia's higher-education system provides a wide range of resources for students and prospective students. On this page you will find a number of them listed below. 

Online Resources

Information on Virginia colleges and universities can be found on the Virginia Universities and Colleges page.

Student complaints can be submitted through the student complaint section. All complaints must have been heard and processed through the school's own complaints process prior to using this system. If you have questions, check with your institution.

The transcript request form for closed institutions can be found on the transcript request page.

The Virginia Education Wizard offers a unique, interactive tool for selecting educational and career pathways.


1-2-3 Go! Virginia's Three Steps to College is a statewide program to prepare middle- and high-schoolers for college.

I Am the One is an informational program that assists high-school students and their families in preparation for college. 

GEAR UP is a federally funded program that supports a specific group of students as they move through school. Virginia's GEAR-UP program is administered by SCHEV. 


The Opportunities Preparing for College Guide and Workbook helps high school students choose the right college, understand admission requirements, identify types of financial aid and more.
